A Hard Truth About Chemicals
Chemicals have been a part of human civilization since ages. They bring us a lot of comfort but their rampant usage is causing a lot of discomfort for the environment. NICHEM Solutions, derived from Niche Chemistry, was born out of this passion to create synergy between utility and sustainability using innovation as its driving force. We at NICHEM Solutions are committed towards solving everyday problems using niche innovative chemistry and in the process, restoring the green back to the environment.

It All Began In 2014
Scientist turned entrepreneur, Prof V.C.Malshe always had the knack of looking at real life problems with a distinctive lens. His unique ability to look at possibilities ahead of anyone else led him to intensive discussions with Mr. Rajan Raje, current CEO and the foundation stone for NICHEM Solutions was laid in 2014. Mr. Aniket Malshe soon joined the father-uncle duo with a dream to go global. Slowly and steadily the team kept growing and within 4 years of its inception, they got their first patent for CROPSIL, with US recognition.

Rajan Raje
Chief Executive Officer
An innate go-getter, who holds a Masters’ degree in Chemistry coupled with a Management Diploma. His 45 years+ of industrial experience has led numerous teams towards success and understands the ins and outs of managing a business P&L and its people. Prior to NICHEM, Rajan was a Director in LifeLine Technologies for last 20 years and before that he served as India Country Manager at Willett International (a UK based company). Serving as a member on the Board Of Directors of Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industries, heads their MSME Committee and is member of their Agricultural Committee. Also heads MSME Committee of Indian Chamber of Commerce, ensuring elevated exposure to Industry leaders and senior NITI Aayog members. Innovation, teamwork, creativity, versatility, inclusive growth for all, are the buzzwords that drive him.
Prof (Dr.) V.C. Malshe
Chief Technology Officer
An outstanding student, armed with a B. Sc (Tech) degree in Paints Technology, M.Sc.-Tech (PPV), Bombay University, 1972) and Ph. D-Tech in 1975, Prof Malshe has always been an achiever. He has mastered the enviable skill of looking at real life problems with distinctive lens. As a Professor of Paint technology at ICT-Mumbai, he helped students see the world of paints and polymers differently. As a Polymer Scientist & Paint Technologist he has several international publications and patents to his credit. As CTO, Prof. Malshe is responsible for all of the R&D development of NICHEM.
Aniket Malshe
Director
A metallurgical engineer by degree, Aniket has had an interesting journey. From music to metals to software to a dream to take his father’s technologies and specialty chemical solutions to the world, he joined NICHEM as a partner and CMO. An adaptive thinker with robust logical reasoning skills, he seeks to create impact for NICHEM in far reaching markets.
Dr. Leena Raje
Director – Administration & HR
A Ph.D. in Food Science and Nutrition with 38 years of academic and administrative experience, Dr. Leena Raje joined NICHEM in December 2022 after retiring as Principal of Smt. Maniben M. P. Shah College, Mumbai. She brings deep expertise, knowledge and empathy to HR and administrative functions. At NICHEM, she has initiated and leads the Women Development Cell ‘Asmita’, championing empowerment of women and overall inclusive growth.
